Commercial water damage can spread rapidly through offices, hotels, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and mixed-use buildings. Without immediate mitigation, water can damage flooring, electronics, inventory, furniture, drywall, and expensive equipment.
Our Bloomington emergency response team arrives with industrial-grade extraction equipment, commercial dehumidifiers, high-capacity air movers, thermal imaging cameras, and advanced moisture mapping technology to begin mitigation immediately.
We commonly help businesses recover from:
From office buildings near Normandale Lake to businesses around Mall of America and commercial properties near South Loop, our crews provide rapid emergency response throughout Bloomington.
Bloomington contains one of the largest concentrations of commercial properties in the Twin Cities, including hotels, office complexes, healthcare facilities, retail centers, distribution facilities, and hospitality businesses.
Winter remains one of the most common times for commercial water losses. Frozen sprinkler lines, burst plumbing pipes, and heating failures can allow water to spread throughout offices, hotels, and retail spaces before staff arrive.
Many commercial buildings near American Boulevard, South Loop, and Normandale Lake Office Park feature extensive plumbing systems, rooftop HVAC equipment, underground parking areas, and shared mechanical spaces. A single leak can affect multiple tenants or building levels if moisture is not addressed quickly.
We’ve also responded to commercial properties after heavy spring rainfall overwhelmed drainage systems and allowed water intrusion into lower-level offices, parking structures, utility rooms, and storage spaces. Hotels and high-traffic retail properties often require immediate response because delays can affect customer experience and business operations.
Every commercial property requires a customized restoration strategy based on building size, occupancy, and operational priorities.
Standing water can quickly damage flooring, inventory, office furniture, equipment, and building materials. Our industrial extraction equipment removes large volumes of water efficiently to reduce operational downtime.
Moisture often remains trapped inside walls, ceilings, insulation, and flooring systems. We use commercial drying equipment and continuous moisture monitoring to restore structures safely.
Floodwater can introduce contaminants and create unsafe conditions throughout a commercial building. We provide complete cleanup, sanitation, debris removal, and preparation for reconstruction.
Fast drying helps reduce the risk of mold growth and protects indoor air quality. Our team continuously monitors moisture levels throughout the restoration process.

Business owners and commercial property managers throughout Bloomington trust Simesota Restoration because we understand the importance of restoring commercial properties while minimizing operational disruption.
Our restoration plans prioritize business continuity, efficient project management, and clear communication throughout every stage of the restoration process.
We provide:
Whether restoring a hotel, office building, retail center, healthcare facility, warehouse, or mixed-use commercial property, we tailor our restoration approach to your business needs.
Water damage can quickly interrupt your business, damage valuable assets, and create expensive downtime if left untreated. Oscar and his crew were OUTSTANDING! Highest quality of work! Oscar also took care and time to coach us through the claims process with our insurance which was so helpful! If we ever have another project we will definitely hire Simesota again and we will be giving out Oscar's number to anyone we know who needs restoration work done! We had water damage to walls and ceiling from an ice dam. Looks better than new!Posted on Google![]()

Oscar and his crew showed up a few hours after I called. We had significant water damage in our basement. I wasn’t expecting someone to show up so soon I am so glad I called Oscar. They went to work on the mitigation and removal of everything that was damaged. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I would recommend them to any one who needs restoration services. He worked with our insurance company State Farm we are very pleased with the fast turnaround. If you are in need of restoration services call Oscar and his crew you will be glad you did!Posted on Google![]()

Stop your search, this is the crew you’re looking for, Simesota is your one-stop for mitigation and repair. They understand stressful situations and discuss proper steps to stop damage, treat thoroughly, and repair. Our home had ground level to basement water damage, ceilings and walls and carpet/floors were affected. Oscar was completely transparent on how the mitigation set up worked, expected timeline, and what he and the team would do to complete the rebuild along with estimates. You only work with them and not subcontractors or multiple people/trades through your home, which puts your mind at ease, no surprises! They work quickly with insurance and can talk through questions on any claims process. Their communication is fantastic, 1- clarity on when they would arrive (very punctual!), 2- text/call updates as needed, and 3- email correspondence for all documentation. Oscar’s background in large scale mitigation gives him the expertise to address any situation. Our repairs were done in under a week (full mitigation, new drywall, repainting, etc), and look fantastic! While it’s not a fun experience to have damage to your home, rest assured you’re in good hands with the Simesota team.Posted on Google![]()

We were very impressed with this Team. Our house had water damage on our wood floor and they were very responsive to come and restore and also put down all new flooring and painting our entire first level. We worked directly with Oscar and he was a great communicator and very transparent. He even met us at a store to review the wood to be sure we were making the right decision to match other parts of our home. I highlight recommend this company!Posted on Google![]()

Simesota Restoration responded immediately to my call to survey my basement water damage and to detail not only the process of remediation and restoration, but also the insurance claim process. They were on the job within a couple days and worked diligently over the next weeks (including a holiday weekend) to bring my basement family room back. Communication was great throughout the whole process and I highly recommend Simesota!
